Objective:

To create a modern, automated portal for SRSG’s yoga teacher training program, supporting both domestic and international students.

Solution:

We revamped their portal to enable a streamlined, online onboarding process with three application pathways:

Online Application: Students and mentors apply through an online application link after making an initial inquiry. Admin-Sent Application:Admins send the application form to students or mentors via email. After receiving the email, the recipient fills out the application, submits it, and proceeds with onboarding. Direct Submission: Students and mentors application details can be manually entered by admins.

Features:

Dashboard: Centralized control and monitoring for admins.

Admin Features: Manage student and mentor onboarding, announcements, Sangha Group Forum, library and books, course creation, assignments, level approvals, graduation tracking, retreat planning, reports, notifications, and contacts.

Student Features: Online onboarding, access to personal credentials, course materials, assignment submission, contact hours logging, library resources, announcements, Sangha Group Forum participation, and notifications.

Mentor Features: Online onboarding, student assignment lists, course materials access, assignment evaluation, contact hours logging, library resources, Sangha Group Forum participation, and level change requests.

Faculty Features: View-only access for monitoring activities.

Technologies Used:

Backend:Node.js with Nest.js for server-side functionality. Frontend: React for a dynamic and user-friendly interface. Database: MongoDB for scalable data storage and easy data retrieval.

Outcome:

This enhanced, automated system enables SRSG to efficiently manage a growing number of students worldwide, providing a seamless experience for both students and faculty.
